Itinerary
Day 1 – London
On arrival, transfer to our hotel for the next 3 nights. Special welcome dinner included tonight. (D)Day 2 – Hampton Court Palace Flower Show
An ideal flower show setting and regarded by many as the best of the RHS shows. We have the whole day to enjoy it. (B)Day 3 – RHS Wisley
This morning we visit the fabulous RHS Wisley — 240 acres of beautiful gardens. (B)Day 4 – Stourhead and Cotehele Gardens
Stourhead features a Palladian mansion, enchanting temples and rare plants around a beautiful lake. On to Cotehele — medieval house, textiles, armour, furniture and riverside gardens. Continue to our hotel and base for the next 6 nights. (B, D)Day 5 – Lost Gardens of Heligan
Morning excursion to the Lost Gardens, lost for 70 years and since restored. See the walled, crystal, Italian and kitchen gardens. (B, D)Day 6 – Mevagissey Fishing Village and Trebah Gardens
We visit this quaint fishing village famous for its old fashioned fare at “ye olde tearooms”, classic English pubs and the picturesque small fishing fleet, then on to a sub-tropical garden home of rare and exotic plants on the banks of the Helford River. (B, D)Day 7 – Falmouth, Pendennis Castle, Trelissick Gardens
Visit Falmouth, with its picturesque harbour and Pendennis Castle. Trelissick Gardens is a 20-acre garden including plantings of rhododendron and camellia, woodlands and river views. (B, D)Day 8 – Free Day
Free day to explore at leisure, shop or relax. (B)Day 9 – Eden Project and Lanhydrock Gardens
The Eden Project in St Austell is 34 acres of temperate parkland with a plant-house, used as a backdrop in the Bond film Die Another Day. On to Lanhydrock Gardens, a woodland garden of magnolias and hybrid rhododendrons, and TV series location. (B, D)Day 10 – Glastonbury
Depart for Glastonbury, famous for the ancient myths of King Arthur, Joseph of Arimathea and the Holy Grail. Explore the old town centre then visit the Chalice Well. Overnight Glastonbury. (B)Day 11 – Culpepper and Lady Baillie Gardens
Morning departure for Leeds Castle to visit the two gardens of Culpepper and Lady Baillie. Overnight Maidstone. (B, D)Day 12 – Sissinghurst
Today we visit Sissinghurst — the UK’s most popular garden. Make sure you visit the tower with its fabulous views over the grounds and the famous White Garden. Continue to London for 2 nights. (B)Day 13 – London
Free day to explore London at your leisure. Farewell dinner (included) tonight. (B, D)Day 14 – London
Transfer to London Heathrow Airport for onward flights. (B)Included within this package
