Itinerary

Istanbul to Izmir – 7 action packed days!  Group size: Max 8 adults.

Day 1: Istanbul - Arrival Day

Upon our arrival at Istanbul International Airport, your guide will meet, assist and transfer you to the hotel. Istanbul was the capital city of Byzantium & Roman Empires and Ottoman State.

It is a most fascinating city, which crosses two continents Europe and Asia. It is a city of museums, bazaars, minarets, mosques, churches, palaces, colourful customs and restaurants catering to every taste.

Join us for our (included) Welcome Dinner tonight. Overnight in Istanbul. D

Day 2: Istanbul – Gallipoli Tour

This morning we depart for Gallipoli in order to visit the battle fields. We will arrive Gallipoli around midday. and we will have lunch break and then depart for the battle fields.

Visit Gabatepe Museum. Start visiting the fields with Ariburnu Cemetery and Anzac Cove because these are the places where the war had started. Then Beach Cemetery, Lone Pine and Chunuck Bair. A

fter the tour we will drive you to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel and overnight in Canakkale. B,D

Day 3: Troy Tour - Çanakkale

We depart at 08:30 and driving 30 minutes for to Troy. Visit the famous archeological and mythological site of Troy, home of the Trojan Horse and Helen of Troy. Dinner at the hotel and overnight in Çanakkale. B,D

Day 4: Çanakkale - Pergamon – Kusadasi

We depart at 08:30 and driving, 3hour drive to Pergamon. Lunch break around 13:00 pm. and after the lunch departure for tour of the magnificent Bergama Museum. It is an impressive Museum and you may see many important relics from Ancient Pergamon. Pergamon is a famous city for its
jewellery, stones and silver and we will visit a jewelry center. Arrival to Kusadasi around 18:00 pm. Overnight in Kusadasi. B

Day 5: Ephesus Tour - Turkish Village Sirince

After breakfast between 08:30 am, departure from hotel fully guided tour of Ephesus, one of the best- preserved ancient sites in the world en – route, visiting the Temple of Artemis, Curetes street, famous Roman baths, Celsus Library and Grand theatre. Lunch break around 13:00 pm. After the lunch, we will visit a place, which continues to perform one of the oldest arts of Turkey; a carpet-weaving centre.

After lunch, we will do a Turkish Village Tour. Sirince’s construction style today belongs to Anatolian Greeks. The houses on the slope are all Orginal with their white paints. Sirince Village also has a fantastic reputation for making some of the best wines in Turkey – especially fruit wines. There will be some free time to explore around of the village.

On the way, we will visit one of the famous leather production centers of the region, where you will have the opportunity to get a good factory rate. On this guided tour, you will avoid the constant nagging and sometimes bullying that is well known in the markets of Turkey. Enabling you to enjoy the shopping experience whilst gaining the knowledge of the ancient craftsmen. Dinner and Overnight in Kusadasi. B,D

Day 6: Kusadasi to Fethiye – Fethiye, Oludeniz (Blue Lagoon), St.Nicholas Island

After breakfast, at 09:00m we depart for Fethiye. After 2 hour we will have coffee break, After a coffee break then continue to Fethiye harbour. At 10:30 am, we’ll board the Gulet yacht and begin our adventure.

Our first destination is Butterfly Valley, a natural paradise where everyone can find something to enjoy. While some may dip in the refreshing Mediterranean Sea, others can take a leisurely hike to a nearby waterfall, admiring the stunning flora and fauna. Keep an eye out for the vibrant display of moths and butterflies that inhabit this valley, making it an enchanting experience for all ages. After working up an appetite, we’ll gather on the yacht for a delicious lunch that caters to various tastes and dietary preferences.

Next, we’ll set sail for Oludeniz (Blue Lagoon), a place that offers something special for everyone in the group. Paragliding from Babadag Mountain is an option worth considering for those seeking adventure. The thrill of soaring 2,000 meters above Oludeniz Beach and the sparkling Blue Lagoon will undoubtedly create lifelong memories.

Meanwhile, those who prefer a more relaxed experience can bask in the natural beauty of the surroundings, taking in the awe-inspiring views. As the day draws closer, we’ll anchor near St. Nicholas Island, where history and nature intertwine. All group members can explore the intriguing ruins, learn about the island’s past, and capture remarkable photos.

And, of course, we’ll ensure that everyone can witness the breathtaking sunset, creating a magical atmosphere for both young and old alike.

Day 7: Yacht Cruise- St. Nicholas Island to Kas

During the early morning hours, the skilled crew will steer the gulet along the coast of Patara and head towards Hidayet Bay. Upon arrival, breakfast will be served, after which there will be plenty of time to swim before heading into Kas. This charming fishing village offers some of the best shopping in the region, with an abundance of handicraft stores, and is home to an ancient theatre.

Most of our customers enjoy having lunch in Kas town. In the afternoon, we offer a Cooking Class on board where you can learn how to make Turkish Cheese Rolls and pancakes. You can then enjoy brunch with what you have cooked in the Cooking class.

In the late afternoon, we will make our way to one of the secluded bays between Kas and Kekova, where we will spend the night.

Day 8: Yacht Cruise Kas to Sunken City of Kekova

The first destination on today’s itinerary is the Sunken City of Kekova, a 2,000-year-old series of ruins that resulted from a devastating earthquake in the 2nd century AD.

While we are permitted to cruise alongside the ruins to get a good look, swimming and snorkelling are not permitted as it is a UNESCO, World Heritage Site.

In the afternoon, we’ll anchor nearby so you can explore Kekova Island and Simena Castle, which offers magnificent views across the surrounding bay. This evening, we will overnight in Gokkaya Bay and visit the legendary Smuggler’s Inn.

Day 9: Yacht Cruise – Gokkaya Bay to Demre to Antalya – Antalya Old City tour

After enjoying breakfast on board, your Gulet will be docking at the Demre harbour between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Drive to Antalya Old City tour ( Kaleiçi ) Marina, Clock Tower, Hadrian’s Gate, Broken Minaret, Hıdırlık Tower: Kaleici is a small historic part of Antalyas modern city, also known as the Old City of Antalya.

In history it was once the sprawling modern Roman town, then the Byzantine Empire, then Seljuks, and finally the Ottoman Turkish town. The Hadrian’s Gate (or Hadrianus Gate or The Three Gates is a triumphal arch which was built in the name of the Roman emperor Hadrian. Antalya’s broken wonder is the Broken Minaret of the Korkut Mosque, which itself was built originally as a Roman temple in the 2nd century AD, and thus did not have a minaret at all.

Hıdırlık Tower is a landmark tower of tawny stone in Antalya, Turkey, where Kaleiçi meets Karaalioglu Park. It is believed to be built in Hellenistic era on a square plan and later turned into circular tower in 2nd century AD and was used as either a fortification or a lighthouse in the past.

Day 10: Antalya – Konya – Cappadocia – Hot Air Balloon

After breakfast early in the morning at 08:00 drive to Konya. After the lunch break visit the imposing green – tiled Mausoleum of Mevlana, the mystic founder of the Sufi sect (Whirling Dervishes). After the Konya Mevlana tour drive to Cappadocia. Arrival to Cappadocia around 18:30 pm – 19:00 and check into your hotel. Dinner and Overnight in Cappadocia. B,D

N.B: The Hot Air Balloon is an additional optional item. If you wish to join this optional activity of Cappadocia Hot Air Ballooning, please contact with your guide and register because it will take place early the next morning.

Day 11: Cappadocia Tour with Underground City and Goreme Open Air Museum

After breakfast depart for Cappadocia Tour. We will drive you to Ozkonak Underground City, one of the best preserved Underground cities in Cappadocia. After Underground City tour, you visit Goreme Open Air Museum, the Heart of Cappadocia. Goreme Open Air Museum is famous for frescoes dating to 10th century describing the life of Jesus Christ and monks.

Next stop is Cavusin, which is an abandoned village with old cave Greek houses. After Cavusin you we will have lunch break. After lunch, you visit a pottery work shop, to see how to make potteries.

Then you go to Love Valley. Love Valley Cappadocia is a hidden valley with scenic formations to say the least. Despite the resemblance to man hood, these amazing rock formations are far from man-made. Next stop is Devrent Valley, which is also called Imagination Valley, where you can see natural rock formations looking like animals.

Last stop is Three Beauties, three beautiful fairy chimneys with their hats – the symbol of Cappadocia. After the tour return to your hotel.

Day 12: Cappadocia to Istanbul by Flight – Bosphorus Cruise Tour

After breakfast, we depart for Nevsehir / Kayseri Airport for our domestic flight to Istanbul. Pick up at Istanbul airport and depart for the Istanbul Bosphorus Cruise and Shopping Tour. BOSPHORUS BY BOAT a traditional excursion by boat along the waterway separating Europe and Asia.

Overnight in Istanbul. B

Day 13: ISTANBUL OLD CITY TOUR & 1001 TURKISH NIGHT SHOW

Pick up at 08:30am from your hotel for the a day tour of old Istanbul city.

Visit to TOPKAPI PALACE, The great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite collection of cyrstal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed. Our next visit will be HAGIA SOPHIA GRAND
MOSQUE.

The Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, previously known as the Church of Divine Wisdom, is simply the best of its kind! Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque is the greatest surviving example of Byzantine Architecture. For 1000 years, it was once the largest church in the world, decorated with
stunning 6th century golden mosaics. SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE Across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles.

HIPPODROME Ancient Hippodrome, the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Lunch break after the tour will then take you to the SPICE BAZAAR (Egyptian Bazaar) The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every other conceivable herb and spice.

This evening at 7:00pm transfer for the included 1001 Turkish Night Turkish Show Farewell Dinner and Overnight in Istanbul. B,D

Day 14: Istanbul

After breakfast, check out the hotel and depart for Istanbul Airport for your onward flight(s). B
