Itinerary

Tour commences Blenheim Thursday 25 March 2027.

Day 1: Thursday Blenheim

Arrive Blenheim and transfer to our accommodation and base for the next 4 nights. Free time until our group get together this evening, where we meet our fellow group members and receive your souvenir cap and airshow program.

Day 2: Friday Wineries, vineyard lunch and fireworks

This morning we depart after breakfast for a brief tour of local vineyards then have lunch at one of Marlborough’s most famous vineyards with wine tasting. Later in the afternoon we continue to Omaka Airfield for the Twilight Extreme Show featuring sunset flying and fireworks. Return to our accommodation for overnight (transfer included). B,L

Day 3: Saturday Omaka and Peter Jackson

After breakfast we depart (transfer included) for Omaka (developed by Peter Jackson) to experience the first full day of the show. Your pass is to the Gold Pass Grandstand where you enjoy reserved seating with excellent viewing, exclusive marquee where our included lunch is served with free tea and coffee. There is also seating in the marquee for those preferring that option.

Want a break from the airshow action? Then explore the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre as we’ve given you a pass for that as well (no additional cost to group members), or view the classic cars on display. B,L

Day 4: Sunday Omaka

Our included transfer departs after breakfast for the last day at the Airshow. Once again we have reserved seating and lunch included for you. Afternoon transfer (included) back to our accommodation. B,L

Day 5: Monday Blenheim

Our tour concludes after breakfast. It’s time to say goodbye to our newfound friends. There is an included transfer to the airport for those departing this morning. Additional nights’ accommodation available on request. B
