Itinerary
On arrival Melbourne those arriving on the group flight are transferred directly to our inner city
hotel. The rest of the day is free before returning to our hotel to freshen up before our (included)

Today we explore the Melbourne International Flower Show. The most famous flower & garden show in Australasia - and rated in the top five garden shows worldwide. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the show. B
Transfer today for our flight to Hobart. Upon arrival in Hobart we have a half day sightseeing tour of Hobart then transfer to our hotel and base for 4 night’s. Hobart is the capital of Tasmania and is a place of mellow sandstone, history, art, music and theatre and situated on a picturesque harbour. B
Today we tour the Huon Valley and gardens. The Huon Trail begins south of Hobart. Enroute you will see vineyards and views over Storm Bay and Bruny Island. Our first garden today is a large garden with many beautiful and rare flowers such as lilliums, tree poppies, oriental poppies and perennial borders. Next to the Scented Rose garden at Glaziers Bay, a glorious 3 acre garden of all types of roses, sited beside the Huon River, then on to the Stone House – an English style garden with glorious rural views, borders, rose’s, rockeries and water features. A day to explore and browse at the Saturday Salamanca market. Enjoy the sights, sounds,
flavours, and colour of Australia's best outdoor market. Set between graceful plane trees and the mellow sandstone facades of historic warehouses, Hobart's famous market at Salamanca Place attracts thousands of locals and visitors. The market is near to historic St David’s Park on the fringe of Hobart's central city. It's a short walk to Kelly's Steps and the Georgian cottages and village atmosphere of Battery Point. Alternatively perhaps a walk through the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens. B
Travel into Tasmania’s history – from the village of Richmond where Georgian cottages echo the past to Port Arthur. Explore this historic site and garden and see the ruins of this infamous penal settlement. B
Today we visit a house and garden overlooking Hamilton township – with themed gardens. Next to a garden and topiary nursery. Accommodation 3 nights Launceston. Dinner included tonight. B,D
Today explore three wonderful Tasmanian farming and heritage gardens. B
Time to explore Launceston - Australia's 3rd oldest city. It’s heritage is seen in the Victorian streetscapes and architecture, its galleries, crafts and artwork. Visit the scenic Cataract Gorge Reserve with tree rhododendrons, peacocks and fern glades. We have an (included) farewell dinner tonight. B,D
Today is the end of your Tassie’ Tour. Transfer to the airport for our return flight to Melbourne.
